Established in Crystal Beach Texas in 2019.
I arrived in Crystal Beach Texas and faced extensive economic impacts due to COVID to young people in this remote rural area. Because of this I started CatFishMark.com and now you have the opportunity to join me in support of all that is the Bolivar Penninsula and its bays and bayous.
Our communities greatest asset is the world class saltwater fishing found in the local bays and Gulf. I started Catfishmark" to train and employ fishing knowledgeable young people tied to a few mentor guides and now couple them to you. I personally have a level of excitement for this that is infectious and will put a smile on your face in these hard times. Ask anyone about "Catfishmark" and his love of the saltwater lifestyle here in Crystal Beach and they will smile. We have assembled and trained a great team to service you and your fishing and hunting needs. We do this while keeping you COVID safe. Let us tell you about that. So please consider the referrals here and know that your support maintains a vibrant community servicing the best saltwater fishing in the world.
When around Crystal Beach and Bolivar, look for "Catfishmark" with his white bijon "Louie". We'll be driving in the 2019 Crystal Beach Crabfest golf-cart
Been holding a fishing pole since 1963. I have been fishing my whole life and much like the Sea Shanty Story Tellers you see on TV...I can spin a tale or two! Been fishing every year for the past 57 years in Blue Mesa/Taylor Reservoir in Gunnison, CO at the start of the spring fishing season with friends and family. Mile high has treated me well but its was time to dip my toes into the gulf.
Upon retirement in 2019 I found myself in the seaside town of Crystal Beach TX. Quickly made myself known by guides and Bolivarites and was anointed as "Catfish Mark" by the locals for his ability to catch useless hard-heads. Easily spotted from the crowd in the 2019 Crabfest Golf Cart chasing fish up and down the beach surf from rollover to the ferry landing.
